Procedure for patients to follow
Discrimination by the practice against you
If you feel discriminated against:
- You should bring the matter to the attention of Sarah Hope (Practice Manager)
- Sarah will investigate the matter thoroughly and confidentially within five working days.
- She will then establish the facts and decide whether discrimination has taken place and advise you of the outcome of the investigation within 10 working days.
If you are not satisfied with the outcome, you should raise a formal complaint through the practice’s complaints procedure.
Patients' Voice
This is a group set up to represent the views of the patient population and liaise with the practice. They hold an evening meeting every other month to discuss a range of issues. Please note that it is not simply a forum to air complaints. That process is outlined elsewhere on this website.
If you would like more information regarding the group please contact our practice manager who will provide you with details.
